Unable To Install Drupal 7.34/6.34

I'm unable to install Drupal v7.34/6.34. When I'm trying to install, I'm getting the following error:

The following errors were found : Could not make the query numbered : 6

MySQL Error No : 2013

MySQL Error : Lost connection to MySQL server during query

I've two questions:

1) Why I'm getting the error message?

2) Can I install Drupal/Joomla?

Also, I know that topic is for stevie, but some have reported that the problems are also affecting Johnny.

 

There is no estimate on when it'll be fixed. It broke almost a year ago, so I'd say its safe to assume it won't be fixed in the near future.
