I wonder if i set up Google SMTP for my website for sending emails (May be more than 60 emails a day), Whether Email restriction is applicable here? wolstech Posted November 19, 2014 Share Posted November 19, 2014 Using external SMTP will eliminate the restriction since the mail will come from Google. I can't help you set it up though since the procedure varies depending upon the software you are using (it's usually a setting in the software's config file or admin settings). External SMTP cannot be used with cPanel's mailing tools. Also, if I remember right, Google's mail servers are secured, so older software that doesn't support secure SMTP and authentication will not work with them.
