BigDaddy Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I must be doing something wrong . And I am Totally new to this . I downloaded my backup from my website that i had and i cant get it to load properly. I have manged to change What the idex manager says when i go to my web adress. but as far as going into my web site it never works correctly.Have Patience with me guys I am brand new at this and know very little concerning hosting . bigdaddy ONJohnnygiftbasketsunlimited.net Thanks for the help William
Byron Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Can you be more specific about your problem? Another thing is that the server your on (Johnny) isn't that stable. If your not using ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, or JAVA you really should be on the Stevie server.

Byron Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 What you need to do with your tar.gz backup is download it to your pc and then extract it there until you come to this file "homedir.tar". I think it takes two times of extracting to get to that list of files where you'll see the homedir.tar. Then go to your cpanel Backup Wizard and you'll be given the option to restore a home directory. You'll finally click till you come to this page where you can upload that homedir.tar:
