I downloaded my backup from my website that i had and i cant get it to load properly. Byron Posted August 7, 2014 Share Posted August 7, 2014 What you need to do with your tar.gz backup is download it to your pc and then extract it there until you come to this file "homedir.tar". I think it takes two times of extracting to get to that list of files where you'll see the homedir.tar. Then go to your cpanel Backup Wizard and you'll be given the option to restore a home directory.
