Know Any Good Book For Php

Hi ,I am a student and new to web development.I know programming languages and comfortable with C/C++,C#,Java for application development only,I even worked in embedded system programming with different assembly languages and C, but never did server side scripting stuff.I know HTML and CSS

 

Which scripting language should I select as their are so many Perl,PHP,ASP.NET,RUBBY and lots?

I am confused ,I heard PHP and ASP.NET is mostly used.

 

Any good books that I can read..?

 

I want your suggestions ,as it will really help me .

 

I just opened my account at heliohost today and waiting it to be activated.

PHP is one of the easiest back-end languages that exist. I would recommend you to read online tutorials for PHP.

There are many more books available on the Internet for PHP. Here is the book I read once-
