Quantum Media LLC Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Hey everyone, I just downloaded a program called FlyAKite OSX, a mac os emulator. It changes the windows xp theme and makes it look like a mac os. it also comes with objectdoc and rklauncher. i was just wondering if anyone else uses this program. if so, i would also like to know what your take is on this program and if you have any tweaks or extras you would like to share.

Quantum Media LLC Posted May 26, 2007 Author Posted May 26, 2007 umm no read the message it states that FlyaKite is a windows theme for your windows
joemama718 Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 ehh. flyakite's alright. i got bored of the mac look after awhile though.
Quantum Media LLC Posted May 26, 2007 Author Posted May 26, 2007 Well, i now refuse to use it because it modifies the kernel and many .dll's which in turn f***ed up my computer so if you guys use it, BE CAREFUL I suggest not using it at all
Nightwish Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 First of all you have to back-up before you mess around with your system files. Well the theam looks cool, and yes Windows Vista looks similar Nightwish
Prashant Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 I too got a lot of errors afta installing it... phew!! just b'cause it did made a restore point I am saved. Its a shell replacement utility not just a theme
joemama718 Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 yeah i was about to say that too...it really messes around with your computer...try stardock's applications...they're amazing in customizing windows (everything from startup to login to themes to task bars) but the only downside is that they cost money. D:
