miccadoin Posted December 15, 2006 Author Posted December 15, 2006 scrap that first question i can make login account wiht a program i downloaded, i set 3 pages so you need passwords. when you go into the page a login box pops up, i entered in my username and password and presed submit and the login box just keeps appearing and doesnt go to the page??? i dont know why
surfcss Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 What login software are you using? You won't be able to make accounts using Cpanel (your hosting control panel - can only manage hosting options) or a program (unless the script is written in conjunction with the program. Usually login scripts have an admin area where you can add users and change preferences. If you don't get it working just go to www.hotscripts.com and find another scipt - there are thousands.
Ashoat Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 If you mean those actual browser popups that ask for username and password rather than a web-based login interface, look into .htpasswd (I think that's what it's called...).
miccadoin Posted December 15, 2006 Author Posted December 15, 2006 im using AQL and it writes a htpasswd and a htaccess file but the login just keeps appearing
surfcss Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Go to www.hotscripts.com and find a better script ?
miccadoin Posted December 16, 2006 Author Posted December 16, 2006 do i look for a script that is inbuilt in the page???
