awesomegamer Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 just wait a long time. my gmail is about 1 month older than the thing started.
PhoenixFlame512 Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 I have 100 invites. But I won't give them away as long as you sell them. When did you get Gmail? Because I've had mine for a long time now, but I only have 50 invites. Anyway, I'll give mine out for free to anyone who wants some.
myscrnnm Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 Problem 1: Gmail is nearly immortal Problem 2: Google's policies do not apply Problem 3: A massive potential for abuse Problem 4: Inappropriate ad matching 1. If it is immortal, that is good, cuz then u don't have 2 worry about one day waking up and checking your email, and finding that your email service provider has disappeared. 2. [bleeped!] is wrong with that?! Google sucks anyway! If anything, Google Gmail is better off without the regular Google policies! 3. There is no abuse, and if there was, it can b reported. 4. I have no qualms about ads, as I don't c any when I use Gmail.
GameClaw_268 Posted April 29, 2005 Author Posted April 29, 2005 I saw that site, but if they do any of those things, we here in the US can sue their butts off, unless they move to a country without such laws, in which, would be a sure sign that it was true. These sites were most likely created by microsoft and yahoo because they knew they couldn't compete. If they weren't, they were created by someone scared by what microsoft/yahoo said. Both of those are search engines too, whats to stop them from doing that, since msn tends to give me spyware and has annoying ads, yet google just has a small text ad, that disappears half the time. Google is also more organised and easier to use. They call the people who make false accusations without any supporting data McCarthists, and quite frankly, I don't have respect for those people. They are trying to trick people, it's more of an advertising campain than for your safety. Before too long, people will wonder "what evidence do you have of this", and sooner or later, people will find out, it was all made up, just a scam to get more people to theirs. And because of all that, I am completely behind gmail.
majazac Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 I like Google. And sice I use Outlook and after delete the emails that I downloaded, guess that I don't have a problem
myscrnnm Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 I like Google. And sice I use Outlook and after delete the emails that I downloaded, guess that I don't have a problem Google sucks. its results r ridden with spyware and the searcing is unintuitive. ues A9, the best search engine in the world.
Ashoat Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 I absolutely LOVE gmail's POP3 option. All my emails (including like 10 different personal domain ones, one gmail, and two hotmail/msn ones) and on Outlook, and its extremely and very conveniant.
majazac Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 I love Outlook too... It's so easier.. myscrnnm we are talking about email. Gmail, most precisely. not search engines.
Ashoat Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 He has some problems with Google, says he prefers A9, except A9 is Google. It uses the Google engine.
myscrnnm Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 I love Outlook too... It's so easier.. myscrnnm we are talking about email. Gmail, most precisely. not search engines. U said Google. Google is the official term 4 Google's search engine. Google Gmail is the official term 4 their web based mail service. He has some problems with Google, says he prefers A9, except A9 is Google. It uses the Google engine. It is based on the Google engine, but with more optional extras. Amazon has made quite a few heavy modifications 2 the results.
majazac Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 but that was to cut off Googles' email... I thought it was implicit... After talking about google I talked about Outlook so...
