Dragonfire Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 intel has launched the core 2 duo and core 2 extreme and they are amazingly fast. Right now most of these processors are around 15 - 20 thousand but the latest one the core 2 extreme is very expensive go to www.intel.com to check out and compare their speeds
Dragonfire Posted October 20, 2006 Author Posted October 20, 2006 but I do not advice you to get it now, get them when some new processors come out and the price of core 2 duo and extreme would go down
Kyougi Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 The E6600 is pretty cheap for it's power. Quad cores are comming soon, so I expect the price of the Core 2 Duo line to go down.
Prashant Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 What about AMD dual cores???? I have heard AMD is soon set 2 launch quad core proceessors.!!! Any info about them
Quantum Media LLC Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 What about AMD dual cores???? I have heard AMD is soon set 2 launch quad core proceessors.!!! Any info about them I found some information about the amd core http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/Produc...5_13041,00.html
Dragonfire Posted January 5, 2007 Author Posted January 5, 2007 intel is going for its quad core extreme, quite good performance but I bet theyre going to take out some new processors soon and the price would go down.
Mystical Water Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Price will go down when new processors are going to come out in the market. Till then the core 2 quad is going to rule the market.
Dragonfire Posted March 28, 2007 Author Posted March 28, 2007 I don't think that it will rule for long. It only took months between the dual core and core 2 duo and I bet that the quad core processors would bring a drastic price dropdown to the core 2 duo so it won't rule the market for long.
