intel core 2 duo & core 2 extreme

intel has launched the core 2 duo and core 2 extreme and they are amazingly fast. Right now most of these processors are around 15 - 20 thousand but the latest one the core 2 extreme is very expensive

but I do not advice you to get it now, get them when some new processors come out and the price of core 2 duo and extreme would go down

The E6600 is pretty cheap for it's power. Quad cores are comming soon, so I expect the price of the Core 2 Duo line to go down.

intel is going for its quad core extreme, quite good performance but I bet theyre going to take out some new processors soon and the price would go down.

Price will go down when new processors are going to come out in the market. Till then the core 2 quad is going to rule the market.

I don't think that it will rule for long. It only took months between the dual core and core 2 duo and I bet that the quad core processors would bring a drastic price dropdown to the core 2 duo so it won't rule the market for long.
