ipoddude Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 i am thinking of learning ASP.NET C# and i was wondering if anyone had a good book that they might have read that they thought was a good one.
nilayz Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 I don't think you'll need books for learning Visual Studio. If you have the MSDN library, it will be more than enough. Keep trying out things from the library and you'll get the hang of it.
lappy512 Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 i would learn PHP, it's more robust and easy to learn than ASP. and you can use it on these servers, unlike ASP. PHP can be put on a server cheaper, and the servers that support ASP are more expensive. (they have to be windows to use ASP, Linux or Windows to use PHP)
GameClaw_268 Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Lappy's right, and it lets you mod 99.9% of interactive web things if you know it
