swarner Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 Some weirdness here. You reset my password for me last week, and the reset password worked fine. I just tried logging in again with the reset password and get a second login prompt after the cPanel prompt that wouldn't accept my password. So I tried resetting the password, got the email with the code, entered it, got the new password, and it didn't work either. I repeated this with the same result. Bottom line: I'm locked out again, and am no longer getting password reset emails when requested. I assume you only allow a fixed number of tries (probably a good thing). Is there a time delay before the new password "takes effect"? That's the only thing I can think of here? Still not sure why my password didn't work this time.
