I usually do most of my html, ecetera,.. work in notepad. i do all the work myself. then i add it into dreamweaver just for quick edits, changes, anmd i can duplicate a file so i dont have to keep writinh the same code. i havent used anything else except a simple wyswing which is basicly adding text, setting links, putting images, and it generates the code, its not too good.

so i choose dreamweaver

WYSIWYG editors are not at all good. I used to use Netscape Composer during my early web designing days back in 1998... but soon I realized that it was doing me no good.

I switched to Windows Notepad... and still use that to write my HTML as well as PHP pages. I use Dreamweaver only when the PHP pages shows an error... its easy to find the line numbers using Dreamweaver.

I use notepad++ for quick editting (just simple text-editor with syntax highlighting and tabbed windows)

And I use HTML-Kit because I can easily paste code etc. It is not WYSIWG so it doesn't mess up pages. Google it.
