In my config file i must point to the root base_dir of server http://stevie.helohost.org

$config['BASE_DIR'] = dirname('/home/MyCpUsername/public_html/');

Also i must config the BASE_URL

$config['BASE_URL'] = 'http://myWebsiteName.heliohost.org';

I have a problem connecting dreamweaver(cs6) to /home/MyCpUsername/public_html/

Access denied ;but when i put a simple " / " instead (in the path to website/dreamweaver ftp server) connection succeeded and point exactly to my website files!

Indeed i have two questions :

1/how to restore my ftp config files or whatever(...) which i deleted and probably is the reason of loosing connection with dreamweaver.

2/What must be the full and working path to my website files located here (/home/MyCpUsername/public_html/) but this path is not working for me.

I will notice that i have no problems in the other hosts .

Thanks.

HI All ;

To connect Heliohost (stevie & Johnny) FTP accounts with dreamweaver :

1. Create your ftp account under control panel section(ftp accounts).

2. Now under dreamweaver in the site setup window (servers section) :

*Enter server name : which could be any like-- mysite.com--

*in connect using drop down box : select FTP and port 21

*Enter server address : ftp.yourdomainname.com

*Enter the username : username you just created: which could be the default used on registration /or username@yourdomainname.com

*Enter the password : ftp password you just created.

*The most important thing !

The path to the www directory where you are going to upload your files :

enter : /www/ or /public_html/ and not /home/cpanelusername/public_html/ .

*check use passive mode .

Push test button if it failed then check login/password.

Also Admins Please remove /home/cpanelusername/public_html/ from consedering as path to be used with an ftp program .

That's all !
