slash Posted December 17, 2011 Share Posted December 17, 2011 hello! i have a program that must be running for the website to work 100 % and i can only be able to do it if i have it on from my home computer. to the program to run it must be connected to the mysql database(which is on the host). i asked a friend and he said that use Remote mySQL and enter your IP and then try again. it didnt work... what am im doing wrong.. ## MySQL Configurationdb.hostname=localhostdb.port=3306db.username=slash_****db.password=****db.name=slash_**** should i do something in my computer too to get it work or what? 2bigpigs Posted December 18, 2011 Share Posted December 18, 2011 Did you add the domain (or IP) of the machine your are connecting FROM to cPanel?You can also use '%' in there to allow everyone to connect.
