hi guys... i followed the link you gave me but this message came up on the program: "Failed to open connection for database, exception message: Unable to connect to any of the specified MySQL hosts." help plase?

hello! i have a program that must be running for the website to work 100 % and i can only be able to do it if i have it on from my home computer. to the program to run it must be connected to the mysql database(which is on the host). i asked a friend and he said that use Remote mySQL and enter your IP and then try again. it didnt work... what am im doing wrong.. ## MySQL Configuration db.hostname=localhost db.port=3306 db.username=slash_**** db.password=**** db.name=slash_**** should i do something in my computer too to get it work or what?
