Hi All,

I am keen on building a web site and initially I had planned to develop my website in Ruby. Being a Java programmer luckily I came through a Scooter framework (http://www.scooterframework.com) which is very similar to Ruby on Rails.

My question is can I develop my application in Scooter framework and deploy in Helionet.org as a Java application.

Here is the system requirements for Scooter (source: http://www.scooterfr...cs/install.html)

Installation

System Requirements

Scooter Framework was designed to run with the following basic requirements:

  • JDK1.5 or higher

J2EE Containers for development

Scooter ships with an embedded Jetty web server.

Databases

Scooter has built-in support for the following databases:

  • MySQL (default)
  • HsqlDB
  • H2
  • Oracle
  • PostgreSQL

Please let me know this and I would be very grateful to you.

Thanks a lot

Regards

Sunny

Johnny supports the scooter framework, you just need to follow the instructions here. Be sure to use the "expanded directory" format.
