danny0000d Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I got a nice computer set-up that works for me, it freeze's up sometimes but it works for me. Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bitCPU: Intel CeleronRAM: 3 GigabytesHDD: 220 Gigabytes I Plan to upgrade but not until Intel release's a 15nm or less processor; they're getting close they already have 22nm processors. I am also waiting for a 20 TeraByte Hard Drive to Come Out with 16 Gigabyte Ram and Windows 8 Operating System. But all of this won't come out for the next couple of months to years; except for Windows 8 that is coming out in 61 days, and the 16 Gigabyte Ram which I know is already out, so all I am waiting for is for Intel's 15nm or less processor's and 20 Terabytes Hard Drives to come out. I am saying all of this cause I multitask on my computers a lot.

wal Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Hi Members' I run a few different operating systems up to windows 7 but I must say that my pride and joy is the computer I constructed back in 2000. I still utilize this system to this very day. Specs are: Motherboard: iWill DVD266RCPU's: TWO (2) Pentium III Coppermine Cpu's at 1 GHz eachMemory: DDR - Capacity is 4 gigs but I only have 1 gig installedVideo card: Matrox Millennium G450 Dual Screen Video CardSound Card: M-Audio Delta 192OS: Windows 2000 Professional Service Pack 4DVD R/RW CD R/RW Although this system is outdated by most standards, it functions perfectly and I utilize it everyday. It is a reliable workhorse. Check out this great link that describes this iWill DVD266R motherboard. It was the first board to introduce DDR memory (back in 2000). http://www.xbitlabs....l-dvd266-r.html See pic below: iWill DVD266R Motherboard
Shinryuu Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 http://www.asus.com/Eee/Eee_Pad/Eee_Slate_EP121/#specifications As-is outta the box, I do all software/web dev on it, mainly got it to take to school. My older HP laptop and its charger kept popping my back when i threw my bag on, of course my bag has thick textbooks as well.
spscwork Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 Windows 7 UCPU: Intel Pentium 4 @ 2.00GHzRam: 1GBHDD: Maxator ATA 20GB I did have a much better computer, until I broke it. Then I got another good computer, which worked well, until I broke it. So then I got this one, which I nearly broke.

craigis Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 (edited) Only recently upgraded from a old Dual Core with a failing BIOS (Would not remember any settings at all after the system powered off)But now I'm running : Asus P8Z77-V Pro http://www.asus.com/...155/P8Z77V_PRO/Intel i7 3770K @ 3.5GHZ8GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance Ram @ 1600MHZWin 7 x64 ProATI Radeon HD 5670 1GB - Little Dated but didn't have enough to replace it at the time1TB for OS and Data, 2x 160GB, 80GB, 120GB (All SATA) and a 2TB External Drive I think the best part is I got it all at cost since I can buy Directly from a supplier with no Mark-up or Tax by extra companies. I also have a high performance Laptop http://www.asus.com/...tainment/N61Jq/ that I got when I moved as I couldn't take my desktop at the time still use it for lans and such since its quite high spec. Otherwise it goes where I go. But I think the thing I have that I like the most is a IBM xSeries 226 Server with the specs:CPU Intel Xeon 3.0 GHZ (Single core CPU, 2 Threads) (Code Name: Nocona)4Gb DDR2 Ram80Gb RAID 0 (Two 40GB drives) for the OS140Gb RAID 0 (Two 70GB Drives) for DataRunning Windows Server 2008 R2 DataCenter I use that to run A Webserver, Sql servers and 3 Minecraft Servers from my house.
