Ice IT Support
@admins: I apologize if this is in the wrong place. Can anyone suggest a good (and free) text editor with syntax highlighting for Mac? Multiple Google searches provided no satisfactory results. Thanks! P.S. I searched this forum as well, but the only topics I could find were Windows related.
jje
TextEdit (the program that is in every Mac) is really annoying and not designed for website design. I personally use Eclipse to edit my websites - much much better with syntax highlighting and project management with support for systems such as GIT and addons such as PHP. npl
Im using Komodo Edit so far it's been pretty good. There is also Komposer which I used a while back. It decent as well.
Krydos
One word, three letters: vim. Actually, I don't even know if it runs on a mac, but it should because it's a linux program.
