CyberJacob Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 do you allow remote MySQL access, ie. from another server? also you're getting an error message on the main site: jtablesession::Store Failed DB function failed with error number 1062 Duplicate entry 'kas9j5qjo3oeiu6uoee9g76uc1' for key 1 SQL=INSERT INTO `hh_session` ( `session_id`,`time`,`username`,`gid`,`guest`,`client_id` ) VALUES ( 'kas9j5qjo3oeiu6uoee9g76uc1','1316246435','','0','1','0' )
cl58 Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 As long as the other server allows remote access, it should be fine. Where do you see that error? I'm not getting it.
jje Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 do you allow remote MySQL access, ie. from another server? Yes. To set up Remote SQL on your account, you will need to login to your cPanel and click on the button that says 'Remote SQL'. In the box, type % (percentage symbol) and click the submit button. This will allow other servers to connect to the database. http://wiki.helionet.org/MySQL_Databases
