Hi, I just bought a hosting plan with 250 helions and I wanted to add an addon domain but I couldn't, although on the homepage is says that we are allowed to add unlimited addon domains.

What should I do ?

Thank you, your service is the best anyway !

You can't have an addon domain on a subdomain. An addon domain is when you have a domain point to a subdomain of your main domain. You can have parked domains however. That's when you have a domain point to your main domain. Note that all the pointer domains have to be registered at pointing at HelioHost's nameservers (ns1.heliohost.org & ns2.heliohost.org).

I have already registered a domain, let's say www.mydomain.com.

Can I host the files for this domain on my account on heliohost.org? Considering that I also updated the DNS server addresses to ns1.heliohost.org & ns2.heliohost.org ...

Thanks !

Yes, you can. If you get a hosting account here, when sign up for the hosting package, choose "domain" and just set up things from there.

Ok, thanks, I'll try when I'll gather more helions. Thanks again !

Well, if you already have a hosting account, DJBob could possibly add the domain to your hosting account. Or you could try to park the domain on your account.

Well, in my account's cpanel there are 0/0 Parked domains and 0/0 Addon domains. So I cannot park a domain also.

My account is roflash.heliohost.org

I'll send DjBob a PM to see if he can help me out.

Thanks !

You can't have parked domains either.. on the cpanel it shows 0/0 parked domains ;D

Now is it set as your main domain (the one you entered on the signup form?)
