  1. HI, Thanks for this. I can now see the database and when i 'Check' it it all appears fine. However i still can't access the web page nor the admin. I have created a new user with full permissions and phpmyadmin works but still no result. Please advise... Thanks, Graham It is showing the database size as 0.0Mb in cPanel>MySQL Databases...
  2. Username: fairtrek Database: Stevie Domain: http://fairtrek.heliohost.org Hi, I cannot access my site, either admin or the page itself. It is showing a 500 Server Internal message. In cPanel and on the back up it comes up with: Determining mysql dbs......mysql version: 5.6......mysqldump version: 5.6...Saving mysql privs...Done ...Done Storing mysql dbs...fairtrek_ft......... /usr/bin/mysqlcheck: Got error: 1049: Unknown database 'fairtrek_ft' when selecting the database (781 bytes) I haven't touched anything... Please, is it possible fix this? Thanks, G
  3. Hi Ice IT, It seems that connecting to localhost is not an issue. Please could you let me know what the other ideas you have that might be the cause of this problem are? Thanks
  4. Yes, this is the message that I am getting as well (interspersed with the Internal Server error 500). My issue is that I haven't touched this account except for the Check DB and Repair DB actions. If this is something to do with Stevie going down then it would be good to know of a fix that can get me back to where I was. Would anyone be able to help me please? <p>Hi, I have just logged into phpMyAdmin and can access my database from there</p> <p> </p> <div id="serverinfo"><a class="item" href="http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/3rdparty/phpMyAdmin/main.php?token=7d8b5166edf9e19aa5e8f49adf198634"><img alt="" class="icon" height="16" src="http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/3rdparty/phpMyAdmin/themes/pmahomme/img/s_host.png" width="16" /> localhost</a> <span class="separator"><img alt="-" class="icon" height="9" src="http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/3rdparty/phpMyAdmin/themes/pmahomme/img/item_ltr.png" width="5" /></span> <a class="item" href="http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/3rdparty/phpMyAdmin/db_structure.php?db=fairtrek_ft&token=7d8b5166edf9e19aa5e8f49adf198634"><img alt="" class="icon" height="16" src="http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/3rdparty/phpMyAdmin/themes/pmahomme/img/s_db.png" width="16" /> fairtrek_ft</a></div> <div> </div> <div>It all looks in order...</div> <div> </div> Sorry about that, I pasted in the icons for localhost > fairtrek_ft that appear at the top of the phpMyAdmin page. The content looks in order but the actual site is still not working So I don't think it is a localhost connection issue.
  5. I have just tried again and the page that was delivered was this: Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@fairtrek.heliohost.org and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
  6. Thanks for this, that makes it clearer. OK, in that case would you be able to tell me what might resolve my issue? As I said above the access to the fairtrek.heliohost.org site was fine until recently and now it just doesn't work. Is there something that I can reset or reload that might resolve this?
  7. No, shouldn't be but in phpMyAdmin it says: Server: Localhost via UNIX socket I have just noticed that my database fairtrek_ft is showing as 0.00Mb on MySQL databases. That doesn't seem right. Also regarding localhost, it was never set up to use the database on my computer. I have not changed any settings since I last went on to the site and into cPanel, apart from the check DB and Repair DB actions.
  8. Hi, I didn't want to start a new topic as it seems that others are having similar issues as well. Username: fairtrek Server: Stevie Domain: fairtrek.heliohost.org I am using a heliohost domain whilst under construction. Basically I get the following error when I try to go the webpage: Database Error: Unable to connect to the Database: Could not connect to MySQL. I have also had the 500 error but that seems to have disappeared now. I did 'Check DB' and it turned a few errors, so I pressed 'Repair DB' in cPanel. I can log into to both cPanel and phpMyAdmin. Please could you advise what might be the problem and a fix? Thanks,
