  1. I enter the username and password that I use for my cpanel account.
  2. Ok, I've found the problem, which is just absurd. If I try to use my (correct) password while logging in to FTP, it denies me AND locks me out of my cpanel account. If I have to live with that, then I'll just move to another host.
  3. No. Just remove the block on my IP-I remembered my password :L
  4. Well... it did this again. I reset my password, which made my current password invalid, and now I'm stuck again. You should find a way to loosen it up a bit-maybe after they get the login right, forget the past attempts. It would still protect against brute-force attackers fine, unless their password is super easy to guess-then that's their problem.
  5. I would suggest making sure my IP is allowed, although that may not be the reason: 71.81.66.141
  6. Nope, even tried from my iPad and it still wouldn't let me. +I've never logged in from my ipad before so it's not a problem with caching. What username do you use?
  7. Nope, even tried resetting it myself and it won't log me in.
  8. Recently, I've been unable to log in to my cpanel/ftp accounts on johnny, although I can still view it through the main subdomain (dj8x.heliohost.org). As you can see, I know that it's the correct password; I've used it since the creation of the account. Any ideas why this doesn't work?
  9. a. dj8x b. Johnny c. dj8x.heliohost.org
  10. Thanks byron, I remembered reading that page but I couldn't find it.
  11. I'm a bit confused by what public-ftp is used for. Is it a common folder for all FTP users under the subdomain, or is it a root folder for a publicly available FTP server? Thanks
