Er, I don't know how to put it.

For past few months, I kept on getting account suspension every 15 days despite log-ins. Though ever since last DDoS such problems don't seem much bother and I used to recycle (reactivate) the account whenever I got such suspension. However, now all of a sudden my account has been deleted.

Could you please check what timestamp does is show against my last cPanel login?

Also, I would recommend GMX for the other mail server because:

1. They are free

2. They offer SMTP/IMAP

3. they do not require SSL (might cause config problems)

Could you please tell me how to configure it?

I've hosted a site www.coozzle.com on your server. I'm using Wordpress as CMS (instead of merely a blog).

It was all working fine until a few days ago when wordpress stopped sending the registration mails to people registering on my blog.

It doesn't send any email to gmail ids, and delivers the mail in spam folder for yahoo ids.

Just curious could google have blocked the mail server while yahoo putting it in spam list?

Okay, so this problem was pretty complicated. Turns out that some system upgrade or something made it so when batch (not bash) scripts run, they don't show up in the process list. So that made one of our cron scripts, that checks if it's running already by checking the process list, basically start spawning off lots of copies. But it only did that when another conditional was met, which explains common recent downtimes.

 

However, it took the server down one morning, and I was forced to hard reset the server. This caused some data corruption. On boot, some mounted partitions would decide to set themselves to read-only, despite not being mounted as such. This would cause unexplainable errors that took a while to debug. Once I figured out the problem, I knew the fix was to run fsck before boot. This had some problems of its own, as apparently the standard fsck command broke, so I had to get the datacenter tech to run a command that wouldn't prompt the user.

 

Looks like everything's working now, though...

What matters in the end is that server is up and running again

BTW, just a suggestion. Can we have helionet moved to a different server than heliohost? That way we'll have a way to get some insights into what's happening in the back-end while the server is out for some reasons. This time I was anxious coz neither of the sites were available.

I've a account named coozzle hosted as coozzle.heliohost.org

I'm using wordpress as CMS. But it has suddenly started behaving oddly. All the categories under which my posts were categorized have gone missing. I can still see the posts, but all of them have turned "uncategorized", while all the categories seem to have been deleted.

I've also tried to restore the same from a previous backup, but I got the error "Failed to write to disk".

Please help me.
