I think the server blocks the port 465 for other address other that stevie.heliohost.org.

Srry, if they want us to allow gmail they should open the port 465 for all outbounds. Or at least for smtp.gmail.com

The heliohost has sometimes problems, when it won't deliver the e-mail. It happens that me or my forumers don't get all the e-mails needed (until now none important - but I won't like to send a Mass email with important info and they won't get it).

So... or is heliohost email sending fixed, or I should be able to use the SMTP alternative

Well, tbh, heliohost has sometimes problems sending emails. It happens when in each day I don't get some 3-5 somehow important e-mails. And that's not the problem from my forum.

Also, that's why I try using google smtp. And as I said already, the settings are just fine..:| But I would like to see what are in heliohost error logs regarding the fsockopen function, since it time outs connecting to the server...

I have a forum. I set the correct settings to send email with smtp. But I get this error:

Could not connect to smtp host : 110 : Connection timed out

What's the problem with the server (heliohost)??

The problem is something from the heliohost.org, because from my localhost it works alright.

PS: the same thing does for any SMTP mail.

The administrator is the only one who has access to the server. You'll need to wait for him.

I'll try recreate the domain then, until everthing is fixed

I am also having the same issue-I cannot access or reactivate my account under the username michaelg. Does this mean that my site is deleted? Do I need to re-register? Is there a reason why I was never given a notice about this?

As far as I know, breaking some T-O-S, will delete your account without any notice;)

Hi! I can't login with my FTP account anymore and when I try to open File Manager in cPanel to update some files, I get HTTP 505 Error message when I visit my site...

Not anymore? That means you used to login with the FTP Account?

Can you access the cPanel?

Also, if you get 500/505 internal server randomly, that means is something caused from the server. Just come back later.

And also a temporary domain: http://calc2009.co.cc/ is also mine. This one is pointing correctly to the heliohost account.

I don't know why the calculatoare2009ro.co.cc points to that Index of .. . The host is for a forum.

I had a domaincalculatoare2009ro.co.cc. It pointed to other host at the beginnig, but now I wanted to move it to heliohost servers.

No matter how hard I try I cannot park the account because it says: Error from park wrapper: calculatoare2009ro.co.cc is owned by another user.

Can anybody check for it?

I've added the ns1 and ns2 heliohost.org nameservers to the hosting account.

Can anybody check if it is something I missed?

The same thing I did too. Yesterday it showed me that I should update the DNS. Now I can't check the website: Cannot find server at calculatoare2009ro.co.cc

Usually how long it takes so the account makes active?
