  1. First off, that is debatable, given that they follow the 'Tardebate system. /sarcasm Even a person who isn't in a debate team knows that it's too vague for a debate. ;p Unless these people are seven-year old kids, I still couldn't believe that they'd hold on to such a belief without really proving their point. In the forums themselves, you can see that RET easily proves itself more correct than the FET. *where RET= Round Earth Theory; FET= "Flat Earth Theory".
  2. I am a Catholic by birth and by practice, though I'm pretty much open-minded. (I come from a once pre-dominantly Catholic country now turned pre-dominantly Christian.) I don't really like to talk about how the Bible may be filled with inaccuracies; it's pretty much something Catholics, some other Christians, Protestants, and some people of other religious denominations believe in. If that were the case, we'd have to argue about inaccuracies in the Q'uran and in other sacred books from other religions. Religion is something which is subjective to the interpretation of a person. What may be right in one religion may be injust in another. Here are my two cents, and I do hope I don't get flamed for this comment.
  3. I'm sorry about that. I'm used to making my text small on other IPB-powered forums. True, Mail.com can surely improve on its services. I guess I'm the only person I know who uses it!
  4. I've been using Yahoo! Mail for about six years now. I'd pretty much say that in terms of functionality, Gmail is my pick. (Been using it for a year and I don't think I'm switching back to my Yahoo Mail accounts anymore!) I liked Mail.com despite its limited features though because I was able to get the e-mail addresses I wanted. (Yes, I'm gay enough to get a rainbow@inserrtmaildotcomdomainhere.net address.) I still wasn't surprised that nobody voted for Mail.com for this reason. Tried hushmail.com too because I was enticed by the promise of encrypted messages. I got dismayed upon learning that I only have 2 MB to dispose with, and that the secure encryption only worked in messages sent between two hushmail e-mail addresses. EDIT: I have a Hotmail account too, but I only made it for MSN. Also, my school is offering us Windows Live IDs and all, so I have to use it.
  5. I'm using Windows XP Home Edition in my netbook (since it's the best it can run with its Intel Atom processor), but I'm running on Windows Vista Home Basic in my two other laptops (I use one for general purposes, while I use the faster one for renders and other more resource-heavy programs.) I used to run Windows Vista Ultimate on the other one, but I downgraded to Business, and later decided to further downgrade to Home Basic. I'm looking forward to the release of Windows 7 though, especially because it will be released to us this October.
