Something weird happened when I updated my MediaWIki to a new version: it lost contact with the database. How can I reconnect the Wiki to the database?

I wiped out my MediaWiki html directory, and I don't have a backup. The torg_adventure directory is there, but something must be wrong with it. I've added a new installation called 'torg'. Is there a way to redirect an existing MediaWiki (Softaculous) installation to a new MediaWiki installation?

Can my site get moved to Stevie? I've been having severe problems with timeouts on my MediaWiki. One of the responses to my query about that suggested I switch to Stevie.

I was planning on learning Ruby on Rails, and possibly using Java, but since the main purpose of this is currently the wiki, I guess I'd consider switching. And just so I'm clear, the wiki wasn't responding all day yesterday. It's not an intermittent problem. I guess I'd characterize it as intermittent success -- about 3% of the time it works.

The wiki still doesn't work, requiring 20-30 retries to get to a page. The main website has no issues.

I'm using the Softaculous MediaWiki app. I frequently have to click links many times, because they usually come back with a Status 500 internal server error. It's not that big of a wiki. weirdrealm.heliohost.org/torg_adventure Any ideas?

I have the Softaculous installation of MediaWiki. Is there a way to use SQLite as the backend instead of MySQL? I have a SQLite dump of my previous wiki that I'd like to upload.

This works now. I have this problem at work, where I can't change the firewall.
