  1. [RESOLVED] CO.CC requires that to use the Zone Records option instead of the Name Server option, one must set the Record Name as www.your_domain.co.cc, not just your-domain.co.cc. This lets you continue as you have provided the subdomain it has asked for.
  2. After searching the forums here and the help of several DNS hosting sites such as EditDNS, I cannot find a way to use my CO.CC domain with HelioHost. I can use the CO.CC control panel to set up MX, TXT and CNAME records for my Google Apps account. However I then cannot enter the HelioHost name servers (ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org) as CO.CC gives the choice of using name server management or zone record management, not both. I realise I can set MX records on cPanel, but I need a way to set CNAME and TXT records for my domain as well. I have tried using A and NS records on CO.CC (instead of the "name server management" option) and using sites such as EditDNS but cannot point my domain to Heliohosts name servers (if this is even possible?). Has anyone had success with overcoming this? Or am I missing something in the cPanel options here? Edit: Pointing my CO.CC domain to HelioHosts servers (not using the zone record option) works fine, just that I cannot use Google Apps email then.
