Materialistic values are learned, not instinct. The other great thing about linux is that it's GUIs, GNOME and KDE, dont take forever to load, and dont sap resources like windows does.

Uhh, when the original napster was around, cd sales went way up. Ever since the RIAA shut it down, sales have been lower than they were before napster started up. Filesharing is free advertising for the record companies, and it acts as the new radio. Nowadays, most radio stations only play the top 40 songs in it's genre, and never plays anything else. Most stations dont even do requests anymore. Filesharing gives us the same try-before-you-buy thing that we used to get with radio (or the listening booths they used to have at record stores).

I use AIM cuz it takes the least system resources, isnt butt-ugly, and kicks arse when you hack out the ads. Most of my friends use it, and I've given up on MSN. Yahoo is too slow. GAIM isnt bad, but I only use it on my linux systems.

Most computer using people ARE morons. Why do you think that most cubical-packed office buildings need a tech-guy or 5? Cuz no one else knows anything outside of double clicking the Icon for Word or Excel, typing, and clicking file-save. Thats most of the population of the computer world for you.

GUI is just plain better because it is more intuitive and more practical. Only for morons who cant grasp the idea of telling their computer exactly what to do and dont like the idea of their system running faster and more efficiently.

Is it just me, or did Microsoft totally rip off the dualshock controller? The only difference I see is they switched the D-pad and the left stick. If anyone wants to bother looking, the 360 has 4 trigger buttons similar to the dualshock as well. Heres some photos for referance: VS. Or even the bananna...
