  1. Just checked again today and it seems to be working now. Maybe I just needed to give it more time, but if someone fixed it then thank you! Ollie
  2. Hi there, Having just moved to Plesk, I'm hitting 503 errors when trying to access a small PHP app on my site. In logs/error_log we have this: [Sun May 01 21:06:21.183827 2022] [proxy:error] [pid 128248:tid 140006823794432] (2)No such file or directory: AH02454: FCGI: attempt to connect to Unix domain socket /home/system/n747mm.heliohost.org/php-fpm.sock (*) failed [Sun May 01 21:06:21.183908 2022] [proxy_fcgi:error] [pid 128248:tid 140006823794432] [client xx.xx.124.7:52600] AH01079: failed to make connection to backend: httpd-UDS, referer: https://n747mm.heliohost.org/index.html That looks to me like something on tommy2 isn't quite right. Could someone take a look please? Many thanks, Ollie
  3. Hi there, Please could you update the SSL certificate on my account? I've uploaded the new n747mm.heliohost.org.zip from ZeroSSL to my home directory (replacing the previous one). Many thanks, Ollie
  4. I've uploaded a zip containing a certificate to /home/n747mm/n747mm.heliohost.org.zip -- please could you install it? Many thanks, Ollie
  5. Understood, I'll update the code. Thanks for the quick reply.
  6. Hi guys. Firstly thanks for the excellent service. I have a bunch of PHP running on my site on Tommy, and it's stopped working some time in the last few weeks. It looks like the problem is that Tommy's PHP interpreter no longer recognises the short open tag '<?' and only responds to the full '<?php'. Per http://php.net/manual/en/language.basic-syntax.phptags.php it looks like this can be changed in a PHP config file. Is the current behaviour deliberate (in which case I'll have a lot of PHP to fix up), or can it be changed back to recognise the short open tag? Thanks, n747mm
  7. I did search the ORS forums but didn't find anthing relevant. ORS isn't very active these days -- last version was released 2010 which is why it didn't seem like it would be an ORS bug. However, with a bit of digging I found the problem and it is indeed a bug in the ORS code (a function was using $_POST as a local parameter variable and PHP was not happy about it). It's now working fine for me and I've posted a message in the ORS forum about the bug. I'm going to revert the PHP version to the default as I think the bug showed up due to a difference in tolerance between PHP 5.3 and 5.4 but now it's fixed the exact PHP version shouldn't matter. Thanks for your help!
  8. Thanks guys, not sure how I missed that. Changed to PHP 5.4 but no difference in behaviour. Any help you can give with the scripts would really be appreciated. Here's some more detail. I'm installing the ORS resource scheduler (http://ors.sourceforge.net) latest version 3.8.1. The first stage of install is at scheduling/install/index.html and clicking on the start install link works fine, bringing up the page at scheduling/install/install.php which identifies the PHP version (so basic PHP is definitely working) and says step 1 is complete. But here's where it starts to go wrong. The next link goes to scheduling/upgrade.php, but here I just get a blank page in FIrefox. Using 'wget -S' to retrieve that page from a Linux command line, I just get a 500 Internal Server Error with no content. Using cPanel to check the error logs, I see no errors at all. Presumably something is up with upgrade.php, but I can't see what...
  9. OK, sounds like trying 5.4 should be the next step. I did look in cPanel for something regarding PHP version but can't find it. I hate to admit defeat, but where is that setting?
  10. As part of moving from Stevie to Tommy, I'm trying to install a PHP-based utility on my site but am having problems. I'm not seeing any specific errors, just blank pages or lack of response. Are there any differences in how PHP is set up on Tommy that might explain this? It used to work fine on Stevie. Thanks, n747mm
  11. Fast work! Much appreciated, thank you.
  12. Great, I've signed up OK and am waiting for web/FTP access to start working. Is it possible to revert my Helionet name now or does it have to remain different? I probably confused things earlier today by updating the email on my forum account (which was a bit out of date) to be the same as my PayPal email -- I've just seen in another post that they should have been different (
  13. I have an invite for Tommy, but at the moment it's still saying that n747mm isn't available. Perhaps I just need to wait a bit?
  14. Dear Heliohost Team, First, thanks for all your work behind the scenes that make Heliohost something special. Sorry to learn of Stevie's demise. I've happily donated in return for keeping my little site up and running for many years, and I'd like to move it to Tommy. Please could you free up the following for me so that I can re-create on Tommy: Username: n747mm Domain: n747mm.heliohost.org Many thanks, n747mm
  15. Thanks, much appreciated. Strange though, I normally log in every Monday using the above URL and am pretty sure I only missed 28th Dec due to Christmas. I'll make double sure over the next month. Best regards, n747mm
  16. Username: n747mm Server: stevie (I think) Main domain: n747mm.heliohost.org My account has been incorrectly suspended; the email claims I last logged into CPanel on 30th Nov. In fact I'm almost certain I logged in on 7th, 14th and 21st Dec so it looks like those logins weren't registered. I'm tried following the link to reactivate it, but the page has been stuck on 'reactivating' for at least 10 minutes now. Thanks in advance for your help. n747mm
  17. Well a simple refresh just refreshed the adverts page, presumably because my browser had already processed a cached root page for my site and redirected to the adverts page at cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi by then. However, when I hit Ctrl-F5 _immediately_ after entering my site address I was able to get in before the redirection, and that fixed the problem. Same thing for www.heliohost.org, where I was seeing the same problem. Thanks.
  18. Hi, Like some other users I'm seeing 'Heliohost Account Queued' on my site at n747mm.heliohost.org for no apparent reason. I can log into cPanel OK and according to its file manager all my files are present and correct. I also see the 'account queued' message on the main site at www.heliohost.org, although the sites of several other Heliohost users who have reported problems recently seem to be working OK. Thanks in advance.
  19. It looks like this is a site-wide problem - even www.heliohost.org is showing the 'account queued' message.
  20. Thanks, up and running again now -- really appreciate your help.
  21. Just received an automated email this morning saying there was an error (re)creating my account: Dear n747mm, Your hosting account at HelioHost has encountered an error during installation. The error is: 0 Sorry, a DNS entry for n747mm.heliohost.org already exists, please delete it first (from all servers in the dns cluster) Please visit http://www.heliohost.org/scripts/signup.php?auth_key=1 and try to signup again. Regards, HelioHost Staff Please could you do the honours and remove the existing DNS entry? I presume that needs to happen before there's any point in trying to sign up again! Many thanks.
  22. Oops. Things were working so well I'd completely forgotten about logging into cpanel. My bad. Yes please, I'd like to sign up for a new account, keeping the same name if possible.
  23. Hi, I'm still having trouble accessing my site at n747mm.heliohost.org -- seems it's been down for weeks now even though others seem to be up and running. DNS recognises the name and resolves it to 64.235.55.112, but there's no response from port 80 at that address. I also get an authentication failure attempting to log in via FTP at ftp.heliohost.org. Have I done something wrong? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
