  1. Ok. So I'm trying to release a new version of my Contact Form for my script collection, but I need to make sure it works first. I saw a few mail errors earlier but figured it would be fixed by time I got back. I've just returned and the errors have gone away, but the emails will not send. I've checked the error logs, and forced errors, but nothing. The previous form that I have not edited in roughly a month does not work either (it did).

Any word on what could be wrong?

  2. as far as the security question goes, I'm not sure what caused it to break for you

At the time I was using Safari for CSS testing. Once I switched to Firefox, it worked. I assume whatever Limesurvey uses to generate their captcha isn't compatible with Safari.

It's amazing how many people stole layout pieces from Facebook...

  3. Hello. Regarding the 50 email sending limit, does the limit reset at midnight, or does one email get removed from the limit 24 hours from the sent time?

    For example:

If a site sent an email today at 12:00 pm. Would the count be reset at midnight, or would that one email be removed from the count 24 hours later? I'm trying to set a daily sign up limit to coincide with the email sending limit.

  4. You may notice I haven't said anything about where to register, or how websites will be judged yet. This is because registration will not begin until April 1st, this is just a heads up to all potential contestants to get their creative juices flowing. Information on the registration process and judging criterion will be posted mid-March to give you guys time to brainstorm ideas. Feel free to discuss the competition and what else you'd like as a potential prize.
  5. As long as you don't write ridiculous code that crashes the server or goes over the limit allowed per user (hard to do) you should be fine. Log in every 30 days, etc. etc. Granted, sometimes some users tend to mess up the servers with load. And like any web company, errors occur. How long it takes to fix depends on severity. Overall I would say it's very usable

  6. Well, the <font> tag is no longer valid html and your site uses it a lot. Not a good thing to use for a site teaching html.

Back on topic, as encody stated above, but teach them proper order. You talk about the <head> and <title> tag but it's not too clear that it needs to be within the <head> tag. Provide an example of sorts that shows proper order of an html document.

You also shouldn't be starting off with tags. You need to, as above, first teach the proper structure of an html document so the user knows what needs to be where, and what shouldn't be somewhere else.
