I tried retrieving the backup with username=jbarma and email=theevileel@gmail.com, but it said the backup could not be found and an administrator would need to manually create a backup. I would consider donating since Heliohost has been very convenient for me, but I do not want to if there is no evidence of technical stability. Dear people from Heliohost, I have had my account (username "johannes", email johannes.teichert.gmx.at) for several years now and when back in december i think stevie went down I thought it would come back up sometime. Now I went back to check on it and my account doesnt seem to exist anymore. I cannot log in with my credentials. Also the account backup I downloaded seems to be empty.Is it possible to reactivate the account, or create a new one without the wait time? greetings,Johannes Teichert

As requested by one of our users Heliohost has installed Python 3.6.0 on Tommy. If you have an account on this server you can use the new version of python by using the #!/usr/bin/python3.6 shebang line. Let us know if you have any questions or need help getting started with python scripting. Thanks for the great suggestions from our users. Hey, thanks for getting back to me. Additionally, would you also answer some other questions for me please. I have a mandrak 3.1 install I was running on a p3 compatable chipset. I don't know the virtualization settings to get it on a contemporary host, so I can't find out if thats where I saw the rpm for a cpanel install option, as I would like to learn another portion of hosting as well. I saw that they are trying to monetize the product although, if it came on a mandrak install, a version previous might have been available for cheap. If I didn't see it their I might have seen it on a red hat 7.0 install set. It's tricky or no? I mostly ask cause I was trying to run some cron scripts and the settings on your hosting suggested the resource could not fork often. Thanks, Charles Ross

Hi there, I am trying to get my site back up with no luck. I have downloaded my back up file, but can't seem to login to Heliohost. When I try to unsuspend my account, there is no record of the account (see below), but somehow there is a record of the backup. i don't want to have to reset the pointers from godaddy etc, and create a new account. Can you kindly restore/move the old account so it works? Thanks in advance! After selecting a page redirection with the sub domain: ilixen.heliohost.org to another content server I am unable to delete the redirection. I have no content which must be saved and the page url for the redirection is at the top the of the subdomain. user: ilixen

Hello Heliohost, I was hosted on Stevie with username: bgee01 and the e-mail: benjamintgee@gmail.com (password: <removed>) When I try to login, the username and account are not found anymore. I understand that Stevie crashed. Do I have to make a new account? Can you send me the latest backup files for my website? I unfortunately did not back them up or keep local copies. I managed to upload my files via secure ftp (sftp). Now I'm trying to create a new database for a dynamic site(joomla site ). I clicked on the tab named databases in order to create a new data base , but I didn't see anywhere to create a new database. Could you tell me how I can do this? In addition, could you tell me what settings I have to do in configuration.php ? I mean the host settings password etc. Thank for the exceptional support .
