Thanks it seems to be working, but it deleted the chat I was using through the site software and now I can't seem to reinstall it.

I did that and I don't see an .htaccess file just the cgi-bin and images folders

I am still able to login into my account but I'm not 100% what/where my .htaccess file is. sorry I'm kind of new to this. I tried to install the frontpage extensions and this happened so I uninstalled them yet the problem persisted.

I'm getting a 403 forbidden error when I try to access any thing on my page all help is appreciated.
