i have a forum, it runs smf, and it is getting a "connection problems" error. along with that i am trying to move it to a new server (because of the downtime) and when i try to move the database to the new server, i get a mysql error when i upload the backup file. if anyone can fix either of these problems, it would help alot. forum url: http://gamer-hotspot.heliohost.org/forum/index.php

if you need to see site stats, you can install google anylitics. thats what i use.

i meant standard java applets, but if i cant with that, maybe i'll try jsp on my at home testing server (a laptop with xampp installed on it)

i'm looking for a cool way to get data from a poll. my obvious choice for making a good presentation of the form is java (plus i am verry good at programming in java). either way, is it possible to save a file to a web server using java (just a normal .txt document)

i was sending items to my personal e-mail which is on gmail. and i am not able to reply, for the same reason i can not send mail.

i have tried all the clients that are included in cpannel, when you logon from the mail port on the server. and i have tried every account i have.

i have tried a different client on a different account and all possible combinations of those possibilities.

it says sending... for about a minute then it reports that it has failed to send the message, and the person never receives the message.

ok, i have some info that may change this, i'm using round cube webmail, and i can recive mail, i just cant send it, does anyone have any awnsers, i really need to get this working soon.

also there seems to be messages i can't access, it says there is data in my box and i cant get to it. genealy the entire webmail is messed up. anyone know any way to fix it?
