    If an application was written for 5.6, the likelihood it'll run on 7 or 8 is nearly zero. A 7.1 app may run on 7.2 or 7.3, but not always,  and it's not likely to work on 8.x.

    This is the reason we offer so many versions of PHP. I still use tons of stuff that runs on 5.6 myself...

    yeah, like basically  all my sites use php 7.2

  2. I've gotta say thanks to heliohost too. They have let me host my site so I don't have to stick with other free hosting providers, which suck 99.9999% of the time. HelioHost is awesome. Thanks to those who own Heliohost, and admins, and mods.
