i know it is a share server..i am sorry my english is not so well...but why my domain and the server's IP always 'timed out' when i ping it?

Hello, i am a new user, yesterday my account has been actived.But i cannot connect to my FTP using FileZilla.So i ping my domain(or my ftp domain) and it's IP,it display 'timed out' again and again.12 hours later,i ping that again,but it also dispaly 'timed out'.
