hi, i've made a free account on heliohost. i want to make a site where people can interact. you can say that it resembles a social networking site as well as a forum and a blog. for this, the users will have to make an account oon my site and something like that. i hope you understand. can i do this with a free account? if yes, can you suggest where to start. i just need a brief direction.

I feel that life is no better than a puzzle. We are born, live and finally die and reborn.(I believe in rebirth). I think that every living can be classified into three dimensions: the animals, the men and the saints. We, the men are stuck in between. We are fascinated by both the worlds. The animal world promises us the freedom, happiness whereas the saint world seems to be complete. Most of us silently pass in our own dimension which is nothing but a circle. After it is complete, we find ourselves at the starting point. Some of us have the eyes to see these worlds. Such people move towards them and are able to make through the puzzle of life.

My poll goes to firefox. IE sucks. Can't think a worse one than that.

Dude! first of all it takes three to four days for complete processing of your site. If it has been processed, go to control panel and finally to file manager. there, go to www or public_html folder and create a file named index.html. open this file and write anything inside. After saving all your work, open up your website once again. See if it works.

I made a new account here. It's working and i'm happy with the service. I want to ask "How to set the default page that shows up when you enter http://xxxxx.heliohost.org in browser?" For ex - I want to show up "index.html" which lies in public_html folder as well as www folder directly as the default page. But i need to explicitly enter http://helix.heliohost.org/index.html to show up that page. Waiting for a helping hand!!!

I am still waiting for my web site. Do i need to create my homepage or there will be one as an example? One thing more, i find that the forum and my control panel opens up rather slow. I have a fast internet connection but still it takes time.
