Hey guys, I don't know if this will ever end. I think you probably remember that I was just suspended and unsuspended and moved to Johnny and then moved back to Tommy. So now my site's apparently exceeded it's limits again before I cold wake up i the morning. Well, I'm up now, so, sorry, if you could unsuspend again so I can finally do all of it that'd be cool. But I don't care, I'll be the VPS for a month if that'll solve it without me having to bother you guys anymore if you just give me the link or instructions for that. Thanks

Guys, maybe you think I'm getting complainy, but explicitly asked not to be moved to John in anticipation of exactly the problem that I'm now having, it's only fair that you should correct it and don't seem really so willing to. I don't know how many messages I've written asking the same simple thing without even the courtesy of a no. I obviously can't make you switch me to Tommy, but if you don't you'll really be screwing me and will have to be pretty peeved I'm 2nd degree connection on LinkedIn with Ben Frede. Please, just this one last thing

I mean, what % of the time when people are suspended for overusing memory are they unable to run their sites on Johnny. Is that really such good advice to give in those cases? And then what, just leave them hanging? You guys have been really cool and helpful up to now, so I don't why this is so difficult. I think you guys got me into this situation a little bit and only have a simple request so that I can just get my data in a form that I can use and then be out of your hair. If you could do that, I would appreciate it very much

Yeah, that's what I thought. Maybe you can suggest how I can reduce the memory? Or could you transfer me back to Tommy so that I can just quickly backup and delete? I get it that you don't want sites that eat up a lot of memory. If I'd known that, maybe I wouldn't have donated to get on Tommy, but ok, whatever, I don't understand what you guys want to do, punish me? Is it that hard to put me back on Tommy so that I can do this? Can you please just get me on Tommy so that I can backup and delete. I did a lot of work on the site - design and copywriting and now I can't get into it or have to spend hours figuring out how to upload databases and crap like that I know nothing about. I don't know how to restore databases from cPanel backups. Maybe I would be able to figure it our after hours trying. Maybe. I was promised that Johnny would work poorly, but it doesn't work for my site at all. I've promised to run Wordpress to generate backups only and then delete the sites. This would be a big help. Thanks, I'm not familiar with this method though, I think I tried it before and failed after wasting a day. Could you do me a big favor please and move be back to Tommy and let me backup through Wordpress and then delete my sites. That'd all be done within the day. I've donated a couple of times. Please let me just get out cleanly

I've done a lot of work on the content of this site during the past couple of days when I last backed up.

Sorry, one more suggestion about what to do/request. I decided to switch to a paid host, but would like to keep my Tommy account open for non-Wordpress sites I might want to do. So could you bring me back up on Tommy with my Wordpress sites active and let me back them up and then delete them there. I will actually delete them after I've backed them up. I've already paid for the other host. If I don't, you can ban me. Thank you

I mean, unless Johnny works so poorly that the backup wouldn't even work. I don't know. If that's a risk, then I'd ask to be reactivated on Tommy with Wordpress (not one of the options you gave) just for a day to do the backup, then moved to Johnny if you could do that

Hi, I got suspended agin. I'm sure it was the same reason as before, which was my site using too much system resources. I switched to a Wordpress theme recently, which I'm sure is the culprit. Can you please unsuspend me so that I can back up recent changes and advise me as to which server I can park my site on until I switch services? Thank you

I'm not sure why I was suspended. I assume it's because I'm using Wordpress and this is doing something bad. This wouldn't be the first time and I use the site for business, so unless there's a way to avoid this happening again and again, maybe I need to switch to a paid host. Could you please unsuspend me so that I can backup and maybe try one more time to see if this happens again? Thanks.

Hi, I know it's not recommended but I've used Wordpress to rebuild my site. I tried going with Joomla, but I didn't get very far, and it seems like you have to be kind of a pro and to be building from scratch for this to be any kind of option. Anyway, I tried installing a plugin today that works with the Elementor page builder, or is supposed to. Doing this, caused an infinite load of Elementor, which I researched online and got the answer from the plugin developer (not Elementor, the other one) that: "It’s due to your server PHP settings. Increase your server PHP memory limit from the wp-config.php file or php.ini file. If you don’t have an idea about it. Please contact your hosting provider and ask to increase * PHP memory_limit = 512M * max_execution_time = 300" https://wordpress.org/support/topic/elementskit-causes-elementor-infinite-load-on-panel/ I searched the wp-config.php for the site I need it on, but didn't find anything like these two. Oh man, I don't know, something seems to have changed, and I can't get my sites (2 of them) up. I went ahead and started from scratch, deleted all of my wp installs, domains, and all contents of the public.html folder. I then added my domains one at a time on the add-on domain page. And I then added wp to each of these domains with Softaculous. Now, when I go to the domain addresses I get a listing of the public.html directories instead of a default wp site. Huh? Please help

Unfortunately not. Was trying to put Wordpress on another domain - floydn.co. I still don't know why I can't install directly to the domain without using the .../wp/... directory. As mentioned, I deleted any floydn.co directories I could find in the file manager. Sorry to bother so much with this. I understand if you don't have any more time for it. Hmmmmmmmm, I deleted all folders in my file manager with the domain's name floydn.co, but still having the same problem.... It works if I include the .../wp/ in the address but don't really want it there if I can avoid it. Any ideas about what could be wrong and how to solve? Thanks

To wolstech, thanks, I've seen this advice given elsewhere and would like to follow it. The only problem is that that it would mean doing my site all over again as far as I understand. I use Elementor with Wordpress, which lets me build customizable good looking pages without knowing very much about anything technical. I just did a search to look for an equivalent on Joomla, but not finding anything with the same functionality. Any suggestions along these lines would be appreciated. Thanks for your answers
