I didn't see an obvious way in Hestia to change the PHP version. Surely, when Tommy was upgraded to a newer PHP version years ago (?), I  must have downgraded the version. I guess cPanel had a more obvious way to do that. I took a look in Hestia's manual, but the GUI section is seriously lacking.

Assuming we're talking about the same panel (HestiaCP), and that their demo is not outdated, I poked around in it's demo and was able to find out that you can change the PHP version by editing the server (going to the server by the gear icon, then configure / alternatively the URL should be https://panelurl:port/edit/server/, for the demo it was https://demo.hestiacp.com:8083/edit/server/), clicking the "web server" section, and it should show the installed PHP versions , should look something like this:

If there isn't such an option, or I got the wrong panel, I'm sorry.

It doesn't seem to have the version you want (at least the demo, no idea how your server is configured and if you're able to change that from there), but you could try 5.6 and see if it works.

That's strange. This version is not currently available in the distribution package. That is, it should not refer to the VPS.

    I looked at infantex.mx:

    $ dig infantex.mx

    ; ANSWER SECTION:
    infantex.mx. 14400 IN A 65.19.143.6

It still refers to Tommy. You haven't switched name servers yet.

I think you may be a little confused, understandably so as I was a bit confused too. infantex.mx pointing to Tommy, while infantex.com.mx points to the new VPS, seems to be the intended behavior. From what I've understood by what infantex said here, the first domain is set to still point to Tommy to help indentifying the problem, while the second (as the main site?) is pointing to the VPS. referring to .com.mx site

I've been trying to set up a VPS to use while Tommy is rebuilt.

One of my sites has a contacto.php (note: site:infantex.com.mx) page that shows a: "This page is not working. The page infantex.com.mx is unable to process this request. HTTP ERROR 500":..

... Did that. PHP is working and the installed version is 7.4.21 (https://infantex.com.mx/info.php). (note by commenter: this is the site pointing to the VPS, which has also been linked as the main site initially)

    referring to .mx site

However, the same page, hosted by Tommy, (note: site:infantex.mx) partially works

But, with your suggestion, I used FTP to upload the info.php file to the mirror site hosted (still) by Tommy, and found out it's running PHP 5.4.45 (https://infantex.mx/info.php),

I fear my "explanation" might be more complicated than the initial messages, and @infantex please correct me if I understood it wrong.

  2. Does this rule still apply?

Do you need to run a specific command?

DISCLAIMER: I am not a HelioHost Official

I just asked this question because you might need it for something and jje had replied that if you need to run a command, let us know (for previous user) so I assume that if you ask and it can be done without creating problems, they will execute it for you.

  3. The NVIDIA message is normal, it's because you don't have one. If you were using NVIDIA stuff, you'd have an AMD device missing error instead  :P It's configured to use both, and the one that you don't have errors out by design. I've also switched you back to the other assignment because the one I moved you to is producing zero anyway though.

What kind of processor does your PC have? PCs older than about 2012 won't produce anything meaningful simply because they're too slow. Servers can go back a little further, but are so inefficient that donating is a better route.

We have another user who's been trying to run this on his older PC with very limited success as well.

My laptop Model is Lenovo G50-45

    My CPU is AMD A4/A6.

  4. Actually I have another problem here. I have it all this time activated (since I read your suggestion and posted) however it has not generated anything, and it prompts that an NVIDIA driver is missing; however I do not use NVIDIA or have any NVIDIA device/graphic card.

  5. The scoreboards are not in real-time (they're refreshed across a 6 hour interval), and won't show anything until you've earned a measurable amount anyway.

I do see the shares submitted on my end, however they weren't enough to earn anything. Your PC is putting up about 54H/s right now, which isn't much in the grand scheme of things. Have you rebooted your computer after mining for the first time? Doing so usually greatly improves your computer's output.

I've also changed your assignment to use a different miner (Stak, vs. XMRIG you were using). You have a Radeon 8280, so I'm going to put that to work for you.

Not yet, however thanks for the suggestion. I will do that.

  6. Heliomine credit will count as a donation. You need to mine $1 or more for a tommy account, and will need to post when you reach that for an invite to be sent.

Thanks. I guess I will have to mine then  :D

And one more, how will I know when it will have reached $1 or more?

  7. You can delete your account here: http://heliohost.org/classic/support/scripts/delete

The heliohost.org/login page has a bad habit of not working reliably for Johnny users due to load.

Now it insists that I put wrong password, and I had even done a reset!

It is the right password because I am able to manually login to my cPanel with username and password but I cannot:

    1. Login to heliohost.org/login/
    2. Delete my account 'cause it always says:

You did not enter the correct password. Please click the back button and try again.

I have tried more than 10 times to do that and I am putting the correct password.

  8.

Yes you will unless you want to donate (in which case we can move it).

Be aware that sign ups on the two reliable servers are rather limited (this is the primary reason the servers are reliable, we don't allow them to become overrun with users), so you will need to sign up at midnight UTC when registrations open, and hope you can get a free account. If you don't wish to wait, donating will get you an account move or an invite for Tommy within 24 hours which can be used whenever, even when the free accounts are full for the day.

I still get "Invalid Login' when I try to login VIA https://www.heliohost.org/login/ with my credentials (that are the same as the forum ones and I had saved them the first time I logged in)
I don't think this is a Johnny issue, probably sth is wrong with your account login. I cannot delete my account except if you already did upon my request.
  9. Johnny is known for poor uptime and is meant for experimental use where accessing it reliably is not a concern. It will likely come back up on its own in due course.

If you need reliable service, consider switching to Tommy or Ricky.

    Thanks for the quick reply!

Will I have to delete my account then, I suppose, to switch servers?

My website pctest.ml will never load, I am waiting since yesterday for it to load.

  10. Hi,

I am a new HelioHost user, and have signed up on the Johnny server.

I was able to access my website at noon, but now which is 8:18 PM at my place, I cannot.

My credentials should be the same as the forum ones, this is the first time I do something, I have not changed anything but I get an "Invalid Login" error.

    Can anyone help me?

I had also tried resetting password but never received an email and will try again now.

    EDIT:

It seems like the issue was fixed without me doing anything, probably was a server issue.
