  1. Great day to everybody! (is this a greeting?) Good news and last update! After all this hard work, my website is up and running. I just uploaded the files and presto! Thank you, Byron (yes, one more time) for all your help!!! Best regards, Creamore.
  2. Hi, everybody! Only to update the status (in case anyone is interested ) I went to a computer yesterday and tried. Sadly, the amount of logins atempts was already reached (maybe because of me... ooops). So I went back this morning and tried again. Cool!!! It took the form inmediately!!! I was worried because I came back to start uploading the files, but it said the account was not recognized, but I checked the support faq and found it's normal: it may take up to 48 hours for it to be set up. So, right now, I am waiting for the daemon to activate it. As soon as it's ready, I will let you know. Thank you again, Byron!
  3. Thank you for your expertise, Byron. I am going to do it right away, and I appreciate what you have done for me. I think that is going to be all I needed help with, have a great weekend! Best regards, Creamore.
  4. Thank you for your reply (you are fast)! Well... yes. I can go somewhere else and signup with another computer in just a couple of hours. But let me ask you, please: if I do so, are we gonna be OK later, when logging to our accounts, or I am going to have to keep using a different place? Thank you!
  5. Thank you for your reply! The answer is no. That account was set from this very computer (that's how I found about your service: my friend told me) and I used the same pc because the links were already here. Yet, the account for acradya.co.cc is not mine. We both wanted to have a website, and he helped me with the setup steps. First, he told me to use a subdomain in his account, but that was not appealing to me. Also, we considered to use an addon domain, but after thinking about it for a while, I decided it was not a good idea to be tied to his account/email. Specially because he would be the one with the password, and I would have to ask him to do the changes. Furthermore... it's hard to predict if someone will become insane and will start erasing all of his accounts one fine bad day... Now, I thought (before asking for help) that I could move to the other computer and try there as part of the troubleshooting, but as long as we both share the same internet connection, the public ip would be the same. So I discarded that as a solution. What can I do now? Thank you!
  6. Hi! Username: creamore (in helionet.org) username/Domain (in heliohost): I have not been able to create it (sadly) This is the situation: I created the account with co.cc first. Then I went to the signup page, which requires to have a helionet username. After that, I came to helionet and created my account (obviously) and went back to heliohost. So, since yesterday I have been trying to create the account in heliohost, but every time I try, I get this message: "We're sorry, but an error was encountered during signup. Please try again later." At first, I suspected that there was something wrong with the data, so I checked twice every single field, but, I found no misspelled words nor I'm using simbols. Not even numbers in the password field. So I suspected it could be a problem with the server (after all, it's asking me to try later), and that it just needed a little time. So I turned off the computer and went to sleep. Today I woke up, came back to the computer and tried again. As I got the same error, I googled for the error message and found another post in this forum regarding the same problem. Sadly the person who created the post broke a rule and got no reply. Then I tried to find any other possible workaround or suggestion, but after checking a couple hundred of posts, I found none matching this issue. I would like to provide you with more technical information, but the error message gives no code or detail other than the message itself [can you make it print an error code in the future? That could be helpful. And nice.]. I know it allows only one attempt per day, but it would tell you whenever that's the situation. Yet, it is not even recognizing I already tried. And normally, I would try a few more times or check a litle more for a solution on my own, but I also got an e-mail from co.cc saying I have only 2 days to finish the domain... and I nearly burned 1. The server is not saying it reached its signup quota, nor recognizes I already tried and gives no reason-or error description-. I tried both with Google Chrome and IE8, cookies are enabled, java and flash are updated and I disabled the firewall. This computer connects through a wireless router to a DSL connection that works great. So... I really don't know what else to do. Can you tell me if there is something I can do, or if there should be an estimated time to try again? [and, if you don't mind, another suggestion: what if you add this error message to the FAQ? Most likely there is a bunch of people with the same problem.] Thank you in advance. [by the way: this service is AWEASOME!]
