I realize there are plenty of issues to deal with, but bumping this since it's fallen to the second page below some that are "solved". The domain I paid for is still basically useless.

[Solved] Password Problem On New Tommy Account
cfbfan replied to cfbfan's topic in Escalated Requests
I was able to login on the heliohost home page, so I would consider this problem to be solved. As for the password resetting troubles, I am still clueless. I don't even remember what the passwords were that I tried to use in a couple of reset attempts. They were comprised of regular keyboard characters. -
Maybe this belongs in a new thread, but trying to create an alias, and several minutes later: There was an error when the system attempted to create the alias. Park::park(cfphq.com) failed: The adminbin “park” in the “Cpanel” namespace call to function “ADD” ended prematurely: The subprocess ended prematurely because it received the “ALRM” (14) signal. and going to cfphq.com brings up http://cfphq.com/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi

[Solved] Password Problem On New Tommy Account
cfbfan replied to cfbfan's topic in Escalated Requests
I got through the process of creating an account on Tommy, but couldn't login. I tried to reset the password a couple of times, but got: Uh oh, there was an error changing your password. The admins have already been notified of the problem, but if you would like us to manually change your password for you please contact support. You could also try reseting your password again. -

I should, but I can't, since it gives me a "suspended" message. -

Does it matter what email address I use to sign up for Tommy? (problem with one used before) -

What is the URL for Tommy signups?

It seems that Johnny won't be running anytime soon. If I'm correct - that it won't be back "later today or tomorrow" - I'm ready to move again. I am user cfp on Johnny with domains cfphq.heliohost.org & cfphq.com . Please delete account/domains when appropriate - I have not yet signed up on Tommy.

Practically an entire day now .. did this issue get "lost"?
-
Johnny was [somewhat] accessible for a few minutes, but I couldn't login to cpanel - didn't accept username and password Also, my Wordpress blog couldn't be seen - "Internal Server Error"
-
[according to the monitoring page] ... hardly new, but outages tend to be in minutes, so this is a long one
-
Yup. Hopefully, this will be the last message on this issue .. I moved from Stevie to Johnny not long ago, so getting used to rebuillding the site .... got the DB up, now for the site pages and such
-
OK with cfphq.heliohost.org, but cfphq.com is still going to "Account Suspended"
-
I have placed a simple index.html in public_html, but I'm getting a "404 Not Found" page using cpfhq.helohost.org and cfphq.com
-
Yes, please. Would I need a new heliohost domain? (It was cfphq.heliohost.org) I also have my own .com - would that have to be "deleted" on Johnny so it can be pointed to the ?new? helihost domain?
-
that the account cannot be unsuspended in one instance, yet the solution in the other case is to use another account, which was created against the rules So, should I just create another account on Johnny?
-
in another "Suspended" topic : "You already have two accounts. Why not just use the other one?" I don't get it.
-
The account is still suspended, so why was this marked "solved"?
-
Given it's bowl season, I have a lot of work to do on the site, so hope my account is restored very soon. If I understand the issue correctly, a symbolic link was created in /root by an ordinary user account. This should not be possible on any correctly configured *nix system. The permissions on the super user's home directory may have been altered and/or such a link was actually created by someone with superuser privileges Johnny continues to have problems, as I have seen today on the monitoring page. It's very possible that the superuser account has been compromised. The problem is certainly worth investigating, but my account is not the cause of this particular issue or the continuing outages on Johnny,
