I have been used Tommy server a year and use postgreSQL database under PHP web.

Recently i changed my domain from .tk to .red and I'm experiencing problems with functions pgsql in PHP.

The principal:

After closing a pgsql connection with:

pg_close($dbconn);

the php die and stops all with this instruction even if the connection with db is successfull.

Before change my domain, this issue did not appear.

an example:

After "Conectado con éxito" there are a echo "Hola mundo" and not appears.

This also happens if the connection is not correct.

or die not works.

The website is a year up active, it is possible cause of the domain change?

I was a year with the same web and service, it is not possible a high load, it could be a tommy down consequence.

Yesterday i changed my domain and register my new domain in the web.

Today Tommy fell it and my account was suspended incorrectly.

Why?

A problem of the server?

My previus website was laparcela.tk

And i bought a domain laparcela.red

I like the idea, i remember that when i was in Jhonny i received a Cpanel certificate for free, only generating a key and a certificate, i don´t know how.

I want your system for SSL, i need uninstall all my certificates and next, appears a free option?

But in Cpanel appears a different group od certificates to buy, Cpanel, COMODO CA but not free.

I want to buy a Symantec SSL certifcate and i decided to try the trial certificate to test it, but i can't install it.

Cpanel gives me the error:

I generated a CSR and Symantec give me my the certificate and two more.

Secure Site Trial Intermediate Certificate

In CABUNDLE i wrote Symantec Trial Secure Server CA - G3 (Secure Site Trial Intermediate Certificate)

I tried to add de Root Certificate but is not possbile.

I don't know if i buy a certificate, i would install it.

So you have to put two domains in the ASP.net configuration or just let it work under SSL?

If i buy a .eu or .red domain, would you have to reinstall ASP?

BUT check on one thing, I have SSL for my domain. I get a COMODO certificate for HTTPS access

I use a .htaccess to redirect inmediatly any request from a normal http (unsecure) site.

Maybe it could be because of this?

I think that the change of domain was the first time that i created the account because i can't use my domain: laparcela.tk and the register forum give me a lprcela.heliohost.org but that was just create the account.

Johnny's hard disk failed. If you don't have a backup, you will need to start over.

I will suggest you to migrate to tommy due to some good reasons.

The main benefit is the significantly better uptime. Johnny is meant for experimental websites and has more functionality, however it comes at the expense of stability.

Tommy on the other hand is meant more for production sites...he:

• Has much better uptime and performance
• Lives on much newer hardware
• Has tighter resource control; sites get suspended for load more easily to help keep that awesome uptime.
• Has a slightly older version of cPanel (58 vs 60)
• Multiple versions of PHP available (5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 7.0, and 7.1)
• Does not support Django.
• Does not support Rails.

I suggest you to donate some amount to the Heliohost to get an invite.

Once you get the invite, you can directly signup for tommy without waiting. However, without donating, you have to wait, probably for days.

 

Personally, I would suggest you to start up with tommy to recover your loss as early as possible.

It's a shame that ASP.net is not supported, but thanks to PostrgreSQL's support it's worth it.

The bad thing is to have lost all the files and the base but it is a free host and it is normal.

It is the best free host I have ever tried.

But when i try to join in a Tommy Server the server tell me that the usernames (lparcela and parcela) are in use, and both are mine.

"parcela" was my name in Stevie

"lparcela" was my name in Jhonny

There was a misunderstanding because I did not want to change my name in the forum.

I wanted to use one of my lost names in my new Tommy account because Stevie and Jhonny died.

I have three accounts because i walked by three servers: Stevie, next Jhonny (both dead) and finally Tommy but in each time of the account creation i register a new name.

I want to delete two accounts:

"parcela"

AND

"lparcela"

In this way i can create new accounts with my names.

I am very worried with the Johnny server's situation because inside i have the only copy of my website and the PostgreSQL database and it is not possible to access and recover my files.
Anybody talks about Jhonny server but i think that is very important.

Hi. I received the link to backup on my email but when I click on the link I get a 404 not found error.

The same error:

The requested URL /stevie/_BcSV3h03ba2goM/parcela.tar.gz was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I tried following the instructions on "Moving Your Account" but received an error message at Step 2 when requesting an account deletion: "You did not enter the correct password. Please click the back button and try again." I tried twice and received the same message. I know the password is correct as it's the same one I used to login to this forum.

 

Is it necessary to delete the Stevie account to create a Johnny account? I don't use any of the extra features that Johnny provides and am happy to stay with Stevie once he is restored. I just need something to use in the interim.

 

How should I proceed?

I have tried to remove my account but it tells me it is not correct.

I tried this same configuration and php's in Stevie Server and works very well but as it does not work I have created another account in Jhonny

I use postgres for all my databases which its support is a very big attraction to pass me to this host.

I think postgres on the jhonny server is misconfigured since the first error message I get when I make the call to the base is from pga_hba.conf

pg_connect(): Unable to connect to PostgreSQL server: FATAL: no pg_hba.conf entry for host "::1",
