Dear administrator,

I would like to setup a parked domain 'landonchow.com' and enable JSP support too.

After several tries and I still get error message from mydnscheck.com:

T+0.54s Doing SOA checks across nameservers

T+0.54s Querying NS1.HELIOHOST.ORG for SOA for LANDONCHOW.COM

T+0.70s WARNING: lame delegation! NS1.HELIOHOST.ORG is not authoritative for LANDONCHOW.COM

T+0.70s Querying NS2.HELIOHOST.ORG for SOA for LANDONCHOW.COM

T+0.86s WARNING: lame delegation! NS2.HELIOHOST.ORG is not authoritative for LANDONCHOW.COM

T+0.86s ERROR: domain appears to be a lame delegation: none of its DNS servers are configured to answer queries!

I've tried parked domain from cpanel, using domain script from HelioHost's mainpage, delete parked domain and add again, each time waited for 48 hours. Seems that the name servers do not recognize my domain.

My account information:

Username: landonhk

HelioHost domain: landonchow.heliohost.org

My domain: landonchow.com

I've sent PM to request JSP support few days ago too. Seems that the process got stuck with the messing domain settings.

Please help and many thanks in advance!

Hi,

@Landon,

I looked up your DNS record,

your domain's nameserver isn't pointing to HelioHost.

You need to add two NS records:

ns1.heliohost.org

ns2.heliohost.org

:)

@landon Golden Chang is correct. De-escalating thread...

Thank you very much Golden Chang and Geoff! Great!

I was using defaults in cpanel and I thought specifying NS servers in my registrant to ns1.heliohost.org is enough.

May I suggest adding these entries when adding parked domains by default?

Unfortunately this is out of our control, as it is the domain registrar's responsibility for these entries. These entries are essential for connecting to the HelioHost servers, and it would be impossible for the domain registrar to automatically set the nameservers to HelioHost, as that would mean that users wanting to use other hosting services would be unable to do so.

Glad your problem got solved! :D

Please spare 2 minutes to fill in our quick survey:

We can't control the domain registrar. You need to park the domains yourself.
