Guest Geoff
Johnny runs dangerous services and as a result may be slow; there is really not much we can do here.

jje
Look at this website for uptime stats: http://grd.net.pl/heliohost/monitor Also, what are you doing at the time when the 500 errors pop up? Do you use any services like email (POP3 and IMAP) or use cron jobs? Could you provide us of a specific time of what time these errors are occurring? xcreations
Im only only trying to load the site up and i get internal server error 500, followed by after about 5 min the whole server seems to crash eg on the uptime status graph its offline. Other times its just extremely slow! No i don't use cron jobs, the only mail part i use is MX Records so i can use my addon domain X-CREATIONS.co.nz in gmail. Let me know if you need any other details to help with diagnostics.
Guest Geoff
Do you need any of the services on johnny. If not, we recommend you switch to stevie.

Ashoat
Over the last week or so Johnny was running a little slow because of some resource abuse by Mono and Tomcat users, but I think I have resolved those issues. Johnny seems to have a more stable server load right now, so hopefully this issue is at least partially resolved. The other admins are correct, though, in suggesting that you move to Stevie if you need more stability.
