Ashoat Posted April 23, 2011 Share Posted April 23, 2011 The reinstall didn't help. Took me long enough, but I figured out the problem. It's some obscure problem involving some software called "IceScrum" some user is running. It implicitly requires a homedir for the tomcat user, which cPanel hadn't created. So it was popping up permissions errors in some random log file about not being to create a file in that homedir. Everything should be okay now.
