RPN Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I tried logging in to Heliohost, and after I logged in it said something like "Hacked by" and then weird red words. Then below that a bunch of email stuff. Above all of that was a map, and it said something about the persian gulf. It all had a black background.
Guest Geoff Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 This was due to johnny being hacked. See the thread in escalated requests under customer service.
jje Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 If you're still seeing the hackers bad work, clear your cache.
RPN Posted April 12, 2011 Author Posted April 12, 2011 If you're still seeing the hackers bad work, clear your cache. What? Is it fixed?
jje Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 It is fixed. However, the hacker overwrote every page that contained 'index' such as 'index.html', 'index.php', 'index.htm' with their own hacker's page. However, all you need to do to delete the index file(s) and replace it with your own. If you are being redirected to /cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi then please clear your cache
RPN Posted April 25, 2011 Author Posted April 25, 2011 Does the hacker now have access to my email? On the page saying it was hacked it had my email on it.
jje Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 I doubt the hacker has access to your email. However, I am confused why your email would be on the hacker's page. What is your username and domain?
