What about the remote mysql page?

Yeah - that's what we're talking about.

I tried putting an * in my Remote SQL, and it said that symbols were not allowed, but a wildcard (%) was.

i'm having the same issue with remote access as well... even though i put in % as a wild card and my own actual ip into the remote access sql ip, it didn't work..

i'm working on johnny by the way. if i use localhost to access, it worked perfectly.

If accessing via Localhost:

Successfully connected to the server 'johnny.heliohost.org'

MySQL client info: 5.0.92

Successfully connected to the database 'shoeme_shoeme'

If accessing remotely:

Could not connect to the server 'johnny.heliohost.org'

A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. Access denied for user ''@'localhost' to database 'shoeme_shoeme'

Johnny might be firewalled temporarily. You have a different issue; open a new thread in customer service.

Try using 'stevie.heliohost.org' OR 'johnny.heliohost.org' as the host instead of your domain name.
