Ashoat Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 They aren't even adding up right now, so I'll do that later.
GameClaw_268 Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 for some reason, my site seems to have disappeared...
eTronicGaming Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 (edited) for some reason, my site seems to have disappeared... Â Try going to http://www.helionet.org/~your_cpanel_username Yeah, for some reason, http://etronicgaming.heliohost.org doesn't work for me anymore, but http://www.helionet.org/~josh does Edited March 12, 2006 by eTronicGaming
Ashoat Posted March 12, 2006 Author Posted March 12, 2006 Yah, sorry I haven't gotten to it for a while, I got $285 or so of work to do right now. I'll do it after that
Spaceman3750 Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 djbob, you started the move, now you have to finish it... I want to work on my site, but the URL doesn't work (so I can't access anything with the link fixed to the original URL) and all of the images are gone when I access it through the helionet URL...
Ashoat Posted March 13, 2006 Author Posted March 13, 2006 (edited) If you want to work on your site, do this: 63.246.154.30/~username/. Edited March 13, 2006 by djbob
Ashoat Posted March 13, 2006 Author Posted March 13, 2006 Also, 63.246.154.30:2082 for cPanel I believe. I'm going to go ahead and transfer all your accounts to .helionet.org. So if your account used to be .heliohost.org, it'll now be .helionet.org. After this, I'll give you all some time to move to the new server. For some reason, cPanel can't mass move all the accounts (gets an error whenever I try). You guys will have to manually move your accounts to the new server. I'll setup a signup system today or tommorow.
lappy512 Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 If you are a KLStaff, I'll host you on the Krazy Letter servers, PM me on KL
GameClaw_268 Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Sorry, djbob, but I'm taking up lappy's offer. For some reason, I've been having problems lately with disappearing files, and my site being offline, where all the others are up. That, and lappy's giving me a bit better on the stat end. Helionet has been one of the most reliable hosts I've had, though... I haven't had the best host record. Of course, I can still stay around HN. And, on the bright side, that's more space for another new member
eTronicGaming Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Haha you may think me crazy but I'm starting on working up my own hosting services... my friend's dad has done this before and he's going to try and help me a bit
lappy512 Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 No offense, but I DO think you are krazy if you plan to do that. Getting a free domain and then planning to give out free services shows just how dedicated you are. You'll need a good server, which costs money, which is why you went to helionet in the first place to get hosting.
