gilgolf Posted March 21, 2011 Author Share Posted March 21, 2011 the most pages i have ever had opened of cpanel is 3, and yes i cleared wordpress and re-downloaded and uploaded it to make sure it wasn't causing the problem. It works again now, thank you. EDIT: It seems to vary though, for example now i have one cpanel tab open and it will only allow me to load the admin dashboard for word press Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jje Posted March 21, 2011 Share Posted March 21, 2011 Each user is limited to 5 processes, and cPanel was using all 5 for some unknown reason. WordPress wanted to open another process, but it couldn't (so it showed Internal Server Error) because all processes were being used. Geoff killed the cPanel processes, so WordPress could open a new one and work correctly. @Geoff - He might have installed WordPress in /story.
