wwb Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 I have the same 'account queued' issue with my site http://wwebsolutions.co.cc/ I can not login to Joomla, though I am able to access cpanel. We hope that this matter shall be resolved soon. We encourage Heliohost admins to do all they can to resolve this. Thank you for your good work and service as we look forward to a resolution.
Wizard Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Guys, the root admin has stuff to do and so resolving this bug might take a few days. That's why it might occur more than once in a day. The Support Admins are doing what we can to bring the sites up as quickly as they go down in the meantime. Please be patient.
jje Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Ran the command but it gave me two lines, so I didn't run the second line. The problem still persists - can you fix it again, Wizard/djbob? *removed* Sorry
Wizard Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Ran the command but it gave me two lines, so I didn't run the second line. The problem still persists - can you fix it again, Wizard/djbob? This thread is getting a bit messy, so I'm closing it. Administrators will post any updates here. Don't close the post please, users need to voice their concerns here or it spills over elsewhere (like news and duplicate posts). I can track the progression fine. Can you? And sorry, it looks like the first command was I gave you was incorrect. I'm running heliohost_nightly now. For future reference: # logs in as root, you shouldn't do this normally, but since you need to get stuff done... sudo su - # checks to see if bihourly is running, should only print one line back ps aux | grep bihourly # runs the magic script to fix everything, actually this just rebuilds httpd.conf I believe /root/bash/heliohost_nightly
jje Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Thanks, Wizard. So, you have run HelioHost Nightly, but the problem still persists. Do we need to wait for djbob?
Wizard Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Thanks, Wizard. So, you have run HelioHost Nightly, but the problem still persists. Do we need to wait for djbob? Running heliohost_nightly takes time, it's still running right now. Everything should be fixed once it's done running. I've notified djbob about this. It's 8 in the morning where he's at (here too, actually), so expect a few hours /at least/ before he gets around to fixing this. I have to go now. If the problem persists, DON'T DO ANYTHING and wait for djbob.
Ashoat Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Surprisingly, I am up at this hour today. Don't get used to it! Wizard: I can't find the heliohost_nightly that you're running. bihourly.php is still running, so I'll let it finish and then run heliohost_nightly.
Wizard Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 For djbob: Initial configuration generation failed with the following message: An error occurred while running: /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -DSSL -t -f /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf.1298994745 Exit signal was: 0 Exit value was: 1 Output was: --- Warning: DocumentRoot [/home1/data/public_html] does not exist httpd: bad user name data --- Rebuilding configuration without any local modifications. Built /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf OK rcs: /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf,v: can't remove locked revision 1.3 Surprisingly, I am up at this hour today. Don't get used to it! Wizard: I can't find the heliohost_nightly that you're running. bihourly.php is still running, so I'll let it finish and then run heliohost_nightly. That's weird. I didn't find bihourly running using the ps aux pipe command. Also, just kind of as a sidenote, shouldn't we remove all the domains that we don't host anymore from the config so that httpd.conf takes less time to build? Also, I really actually have to leave now.
Ashoat Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Hmm... looks like it was run during bihourly.php. Since bihourly.php is running right now, I'm guessing it was running when you ran heliohost_nightly (as it only ever starts at x:52 and x:22). UPDATE Okay, everything should be up now.
Incidense Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Hi djbob, Thnx for your hard work this morning! With your latest update, do you mean everthing is technically ok and the que will be cleared the next couple of hours? Since incidense.heliohost.org is still down I wonder how to interpet "everuthing should be up". Thank you! Kind regards,
jje Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 I'm seeing incidense.heliohost.org fine - please clear your cache if you still see the queued page. Thanks, djbob!
GentleOz Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 I presume this is all relateed to the problems you are currently experiencing, but I have been unable to FTP or launch phpMyAdmin for the last couple of days. I'm not hosting a web site really, just some pages in php accessing a mysql database. The pages seem to load fine, but cause I cant update the pages or administer the database I cant tell if things are doing what they should (I'm still in development mode). Just thought I'd let you guys know - which I'm sure you already know about. I'm being patient cause you cant really jump up and down about a free service that is fantastic is relation to what services you provide. username is sdma.heliohost.org
Ashoat Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 GentleOz: FTP seems to be working fine. You're probably accessing it at ftp://heliohost.org instead of ftp://stevie.heliohost.org (the former now points to Cody). As for phpMyAdmin: is this the built-in cPanel version? If so, what URL are you using to access it?
