jje Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 This issue has already been identified, escalated, and possibly resolved. Please take a look at this thread: http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?sh...c=8111&st=0 The cPanel folks say that the issue is fixed. Can you guys try to see if you can install the certificate? Make sure to wait until server load is low (probably below 10) before trying. The server load is in my signature.

If I understand the OP correctly, he's asking for a dedicated IP, which requires escalation.

Ashoat Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Do you already have an SSL certificate? If not, are you planning to self-sign? If so, are you aware of the dangers of self-signing and how browsers tend to treat self-signed certificates?
Kenobi54 Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 yes i have my own certicicate it's a cacert certificate
Ashoat Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Okay, you should have a dedicated IP within the next 24 hours.
Guest Geoff Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 it's a cacert certificate I created a nifty tool that installs the CACert root cert on to windows machines. You can download it here (if it still works).
Ashoat Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Closing this thread since it seems resolved.
