MAHS
I received an email recently due to my inactivity on cPanel in the last few weeks. I tried to click the given link for reactivation/renewal of my account before the account is fully closed. However, the link always provides an error (as given below). We're sorry, but we either could not find that account in the database, or it is not listed as inactive. Please contact an administrator if you feel this message is in error. My domain is at macahs.org How do I prevent my account from being closed? Thanks for your help.
jje
Sorry, that message means that your account has already been deleted. Please remember to login to a .PHP or .PHPCP file in cPanel at least ONCE every 30 days. Please feel free to create a new account. If you haven't got a backup then you can use Google's Cache to recover as much as possible: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/sear...w.google.co.uk) Sorry for any inconvenience. MAHS
I can still access cPanel and my website is unaffected. Wouldn't this be impossible if my account is deleted? jje
Sorry about my previous post. I've just realized your account is still active. What username do you use to login to cPanel?

jje
Ok - I've found the problem. There's no need to renew your account. Instead, you need to login to cPanel (this will keep your account active for the next 30 days).
